temporary installation, Maale Adumim, Israel, December 2005

350 25hr candles were placed in paper falafel bags filled with sand and placed on a hillside between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim in the shape of a menorah/chanukiah. The finished design measured approximately 30ft by 40ft (9x12 meters). The candles were lit at dusk, burned through the night. We blew them out in the morning and relit them the following night.
